Your Mission is Ours.Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking an Early Career Software Engineer. In this role, work to support the development of tools, CI/CD pipelines, and process improvement as part of the C-130J and C-5 digital transformation for DevSecOps. Must be capable of working effectively within a configuration managed software development environment across all phases of the software project life cycle. Adherence to rigorous company and program specific software development processes is required. Position requires a working knowledge of at least one programming language as well as software engineering principles. This position requires good communication and organizational skills, good writing skills and the ability to work in a team environment.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering with software programming coursework.Experience with at least one of the following software development languages required: Python, C, C++, or C#.Desired Skills:Excellent oral and written communication skills.Experience with Agile software development methodology.Proficient with Microsoft Office.Experience with DevOps tools - Jira, GIT, JSON.Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level:

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
