Along with systems management responsibilities, this role will oversee Google Analytics data infrastructure and build solid foundational architectures to maintain accurate data integrity. Work with business partners to leverage the tag manager for integrations, optimize tagging, and support reporting needs. Build, monitor, and maintain Google Analytics 4 data within BigQuery for optimization and enterprise dashboard needs. As a key member of our customer experience & data teams, this person plays a key role in setting the direction of the long-term tagging strategy and vision and further assists the business with key data insights and decision through data driven tools.RESPONSIBILITIESOwns, manages, optimizes Google Tag Manager, focused mainly on Google Analytics 4 infrastructure.Manages and assists with Google Analytics BigQuery tables, projects, and schemas.Creates a process for information maintenance and testing for accuracy; Monitors and maintains data quality and integrity.Assists with the optimization and long-term vision assistance of Google Analytics roadmaps and initiatives. This includes back end tagging and front-end reporting outputs.Provides product support by ensuring adherence to proper procedures and guidelines or advising on, executing, and documenting organizational practices, understanding, and communicating working knowledge of organizational best practices.Participates in reporting and dashboard creation for the business. Provides inputs for business requirements and migration of enterprise level reporting.Responsible for Google Analytics integration with 3rd party tools and other API connections. Provide tagging support for 3rd party pixels.Works with developers on data layer requirements. Presents best practices as it relates to data layer components and element triggers.Addresses critical/on call/bugs issues that can occur with Google Analytics or Google Cloud Platform outputs.Works cross-functionally to gather insights which will improve marketing efforts.Serves as a liaison between business operations and IT to assist or gather the business requirements needed for Google Analytics modifications, enhancements, and implementation of strategies.Translates Looker Data Studio and Tableau reports and analysis to distill actionable insights; Clearly communicate results.Leads or participates in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks.Explores and supports other data related items from Marketing such as CDP or ACOE requirements.Other duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Information Technology required.8+ years demonstrated application (internship, co-op, work experience) in web analytics, tag engineering, data, or business intelligence field.Strong web analytic tools required such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 360, GA4, BigQuery, Tableau, Data Studio, Looker.Experience with Syndicated data (Household Data, POS Data, Panel Data, customer analytics, web analytics) preferred.Broad knowledge and understanding of IT and IT related policies and procedures.Strong communications skills including written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal.Experience in a large scale, Corporate/Enterprise environments preferred.Chico’s FAS, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
