Our relentless pursuit involves crafting an exceptional suite of products that empowers customers to seamlessly visualize, expertly control, and fearlessly combat cyber-security threats.The MPP organization in Abnormal Security owns the product platform which enables scalable product development to support the business to create and launch various enterprise-level products for the customers with consistent experience. We are looking for a Sr Software Engineer who will be technically leading the Customer Journey team for the MPP organization. Here, we focus on building platforms/experiences that enable customer onboarding journey to Abnormal.The ideal candidate will have the following skills:Experienced Software Engineer having 5+ years of industry experience with strong software engineering fundamentals.Growth-oriented, looking to increase impact, responsibility, and ownership over timeExperience writing production Python or Go code.Proven experience in system design and built applications at scale.Detail driven and care about code quality, testing, and performance.Ability to make practical trade-offs and propose technical solutions, including writing technical design documents and leading its adoptionStrong communication skills and proven ability to work autonomously and asynchronously with remote collaborators and stakeholders.What You’ll DoTechnical Delivery & Operational ExcellenceBuild and iterate on product offerings, APIs, platforms, frameworks and tools.Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining team’s owned systems to support a world-class user experience for our customers.You will be relied upon to own the delivery of complex features for a Standing Team -- to design, decompose, execute, and launch. You will play the role of a highly capable feature lead, able to take a clearly defined business problem, and design a technical approach to implement.Conduct thorough testing of applications, including unit testing and integration testing.Use debugging tools and techniques to diagnose and fix issues in a timely manner.Participate in regular code and design reviews as well as team-wide on-call rotation.Teamwork & CollaborationCommunicate effectively in Async manner with team members to provide updates, discuss challenges and propose solutions.Collaborate closely with product managers and engineersActively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team and participate in professional development activities.#LI-AB2
