Will also be responsible for coordinating software implementation related to new product launch and warranty support.Job Functions / ResponsibilitiesEvaluation of software changes and the impact to the production processCoordinates testing of new engine software through all aspects of productionValidation of new software operation during engine calibrationWork with global development team to provide timely feedback of software release testingLead activities related to software implementation for new product launchProvide production support with evaluation of ECU and electrical sensor/actuator issuesSupport Product Development and Field Service to resolve production based concernsQualifications & SkillsBS degree in mechanical, electrical, or equivalent engineering experience requiredThree (3) plus years relevant work experienceSelf-directed, excellent analysis and engineering judgmentOrganized and disciplined with ability to manage personal workloadWillingness and initiative to respond to shifting time and project demandsUnderstanding of engine software control/communication systems and architectureExperience in engine test environment preferredPACCAR is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability.
