About the Role & Team
Disney’s Direct to Consumer (DTC) team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s (TWDC) best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.The Disney+ Global Content Programming and Subscriber Engagement organization is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.The Content Programming team is responsible for ensuring the Disney+ and Star+ global programming frameworks drive audience engagement and discovery with local relevance.What You Will Do
Reporting to the Manager, Content Programming, the Content Programming Associate Manager would build, publish, and optimize programming plans at a global scale. They will collaborate cross-functionally and should be an excellent communicator, collaborator, and contributor.Duties include:
Build, publish and manage Disney+ global content programming to maximize audience engagement and retention.Ensure published programming is validated across audiences, platforms, and regions.Facilitate verbal and written communications between teams, and to the larger organization to ensure smooth information-sharing, issue resolution, and workload transitionsTrack performance of merchandising areas of the service over time.Leverage market & service behavior data, audience research to drive data and analytics that determine effective programming strategies.Collaborate on regional and territorial editorial merchandising and promotions.Sustain existing projects or leading projects as assigned.Collaborate with Programming Optimization to meet testing requirements and implement tests as necessary.Partner with Product teams on testing new features in CMS to improve guest experience.Act as liaison or advocate with business partners as needed.Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in digital media or content programming.Skilled in curating and publishing content in a consumer-facing CMS.Familiar with digital media publishing, including hands-on CMS publishing spanning web, app, streaming, and connected devices.Experience with Excel, Airtable, and Google Sheets required.Data literacy using tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, or Tableau.Hands-on experience in data analysis.Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills; adept at managing multiple, high-priority projects with meticulous attention to detail.Agile and quick to adapt to new technologies and processes.Constantly seeking to improve processes and foster personal growth with a continuous learning mentality.Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to confidentiality; possessing high emotional intelligence.Possess a strategic, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset.Open to innovative thinking beyond conventional models.Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record to convey messages effectively.Thrive in a fast-paced work environment.Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of TWDC and general entertainment content libraries, brands, franchises, and characters.General entertainment and international content experience preferred.Additional language and character set proficiency (written) a plus.Required Education

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $84,500 - $113,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.#J-18808-Ljbffr
