SRC is searching for a System Administrator to support sustainment of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) systems.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Operates, manages, and maintains On-Prem VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for the customer to include troubleshooting, break fix activities, the patching and remediation of servers, and system audit log reviews as necessaryPerforms actions as a Windows System Administrator on Servers and Client imagesMaintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and customer and IT managementWorks across disciplines to isolate issues between software, firmware, and hardware, between software and operating systems, between networks and applications, and between one-time events and recurrent systemic problemsDesigns and documents installation and configuration solutionsCreates templates and machine images based on user requirementsPerforms maintenance and patching of the environmentProvides Tier 2/3 support for NORAD & USNORTHCOM J6 Mission Systems teamWorks remotely using USNORTHCOM Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to support Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC)ADDITIONAL PAY INFORMATION:Estimated Starting Salary Range: $97,150.00 - $161,900.00. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
