As an SDE on our team, you will design, build, and maintain systems for generating, appraising, and processing data to power world-class general-purpose intelligence. You will also collaborate closely with the Applied Scientists on our team on modeling experiments and prototypes.

Develop and maintain key components for data generation, appraisal, and processing.Manage project prioritization, deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder communication.Illuminate trade-offs, educate the team on best practices, and influence technical strategy.Collaborate closely with Applied Scientists to investigate and plan experiments, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility.Operate in a dynamic environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming language3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentExperience designing, developing, and optimizing machine learning or data processing systems at scaleAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
