DIGITAL NAVIGATOR (EVENING) - PART-TIMEADULT LEARNING CENTER4-DAYS A WEEK/12-HOURS, 25-WEEKS$30.00 PER HOUR
RESPONSIBILITIES:Support students in their attainment of essential digital literacy skills, including computer proficiency, internet research, digital communication, and online safety.Identify real-time labor market information as it relates to employer demand of essential technology skills for a competitive workforce.Provide opportunities for credentialing.Provide and push-in support for students/teachers for technology use in the classroom and class-based applications.Provide professional development for instructional staff to enhance teachers’ digital skills development and build instructor capacity.Create a digital learning plan.Provide direct instruction to students utilizing a comprehensive digital literacy curriculum.Collaborate with educational institutions, The WorkPlace, Career Resources, and industry stakeholders to leverage existing resources, expand access to digital learning opportunities, and establish pathways for micro-credentials and certifications.Ensure the attainment of successful outcomes through retention strategies, management of the project components, and reporting of student outcomes.Interface with the following programs to support adult learners: Northstar, Microsoft Office Specialist, EnGen, Transfr, Burlington English.This job description is not, nor is it intended to be, a complete statement of all duties, functions, responsibilities, qualifications, physical, and cognitive, which comprise this position.
