Our Project Engineer will be a critical support to our active projects here at Costich and can expect to assist our departments with their engineering expertise. We are seeking an adaptable, hard-working, and proficient Project Engineer to play a key role from conception through construction with excellent communication skills.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project designEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field and Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of New York, preferred but not requiredWork Remotely:
NoDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Planning and Execution:
Collaborate with project managers, landscape architects, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, specifications, and schedules. Conduct site investigations and surveys to assess project feasibility and identify potential challenges. Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and calculations using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other software.Coordinate and Support:
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project owners for construction projects. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, technicians, and other team members.Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks to ensure compliance with design standards, specifications, and regulations. Prepare and submit permit applications, environmental assessments, and other regulatory documents as required.SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of New York, preferred but not required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and other engineering software. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and regulatory requirements.Communication and Organizational Skills:
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
