Managing and supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms and associated applications. The individual will implement and administer IT systems in alignment with technology standards and best practices, providing critical services that include both on-premises and cloud-based solutions, such as Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS). This role will involve responding to cybersecurity threats, protecting IAM enterprise systems, and ensuring secure access across the organization. In addition to IAM expertise, the IDM Identity & Security Engineer will design and implement security controls for ERP systems, managing role-based access and ensuring data protection across projects and new functionality. This role will also involve performing DevOps software development for system integrations, access control, and reporting tools. The individual will utilize reporting platforms and SQL to query Oracle databases, providing data analysis and insights.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree or four (4+) plus years of experience in information technologies and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.Skills and Knowledge:Expertise in managing IAM platforms, including integration and support.Ability to design, implement, and manage secure ERP systems and controls.Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, especially for software development and automation.Strong skills in querying Oracle databases and using SQL for data analysis.Experience in managing IT systems in compliance with organizational standards.Ability to develop and enforce security policies and conduct assessments.Responsibilities:Manage IT support requests related to Identity and Access Management platforms, application platforms, and integrations.Protect enterprise systems and information by promptly responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents, acting individually and as part of the team to resolve issues.Implement and administer IT systems in compliance with technology standards, processes, and best practices.Provide critical university-wide computing services, including Identity Access Management (IAM), leveraging both on-premises and cloud-based solutions such as Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).Responsible for the security design and implementation of ERP systems, ensuring secure access control and data protection across all projects and new functionality.This person will assist in developing security policies, managing role-based access, and conducting security assessments to ensure compliance with organizational standards.DevOps software development in support of on-premises/cloud integrations, rights delegation, access control, security, and reporting tools, including Tableau reporting and querying Oracle databases using SQL for data analysis and reporting.Other duties as assigned.Application Instructions:
