Project Engineer - LibertyWorks
Location:
Indianapolis, INAs a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to an extended, multi-functional integrated product team (IPT) to apply a systems approach to the realization of a new system or the modification of an existing one. You will define, plan, monitor, control, and deliver managed change (including new solutions) to meet all agreed stakeholder requirements, and plan and deliver verification programs to ensure that Rolls-Royce's products meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements.Key Accountabilities:Prepare costs, schedule estimates, and manage project control accounts.Plan, manage, and support development engine/sub-system build and test activities.Generate, develop, and document engine-level requirements and allocate requirements to major sub-systems.Develop and manage engine/sub-system certification/qualification plans.Manage and participate in product introduction gated reviews.Manage major manufacturing or engineering subcontracts for design-make components.Define necessary resources to achieve stakeholder requirements, negotiating with resource managers.Identify and manage project risks (technical, cost, supply chain, and timescale).Ensure IPT work is integrated with all relevant higher-level plans.Plan and coordinate experiments (rig, engine, and/or flight testing) including instrumentation and data analysis requirements.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in engineering with 2+ years of experience, ORMaster's Degree in engineering, ORJD/PhD.Eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, requiring USA Citizenship.Preferred Qualifications:Project/Function Management Engineering Experience.Experience leading or managing a team for execution of a program.Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to accept responsibility.Excellent command of the English language for both written and oral communications.Familiarity with external customer interface and delivery of engine assembly and testing experience at a system level.Closing Date:
