What will you be doing?

Barclays Services LLC seeks Business Systems Analyst in Whippany, New Jersey (multiple positions).

Act as a liaison among project stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate features for new functionality. Serve as the SME for business and functional domain knowledge imparting understanding of Data warehouse/Data Engineering concepts and file processing knowledge. Meet with business teams, product owners and other key stakeholders to gather high-level functional and non-functional requirements. Work with Data Architects/Data Modelers to perform Gap Analysis by analyzing the existing mapping document between different layers and document the logics that are applied to understand how the new requirement would affect the existing process. Support the creation of initiation document and project charter to ensure scope and feature groups are clearly identified and defined. Create and maintain project features/project backlog and story backlog and any changes to the requirements. Participate in design sessions to develop and document features and stories and create clear feature and story backlogs. Collaborate with scrum master ensure compliance with Agile Safe practices, Agile methodology and audit standards. Write and execute test cases according to established plans and scripts, documented issues, and retested software corrections to ensure resolution. Plan and execute testing efforts of systems, release fixes and enhancements, including documentation, reporting. May telecommute.

Accountabilities

Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.

Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.

Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.

Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.

Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.

Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.

Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.

Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
