Job Location:The office for this position is located at the Harry S. Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO. 65101.Why You’ll Love This PositionThis position is a member of a Cloud Governance and Operations team that oversees, coordinates, and performs the day-to-day tasks necessary for the ongoing implementation, management, and governance of Cloud Services provided through the State's cloud providers (Azure, AWS, and GCP). The position participates in the development and enforcement of resource naming, configuration, and security standards required for the secure and efficient operation of ITSD's cloud infrastructure.
This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD).

What You’ll DoDevelop, enforce, and maintain cloud governance frameworks.Oversee the deployment, management, and operational support of cloud apps and infrastructure.Develop and enforce standard practices in the creation and configuration of cloud resources.Develop and enforce security standards for the protection and access to cloud resources.Assist in the design and use of cloud-based enterprise and application-specific services.Develop scripts and processes to automate allocation, monitoring, reporting, and billing of Cloud.All You Need For SuccessStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a collaborative manner with co-workers, customers, and vendors.Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).Azure, AWS, and/or GCP administrative experience highly desired.Experience with automation and cloud management is highly desired.Scripting, automation, and app development skills highly desired (e.g. Python, Ansible, DevOps).Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.Skill in critical thinking and problem-solving. Skill in the analysis and evaluation of system issues. Ability to mentor, coach, and develop skills of staff.
