Destination of Excellence.TMC Offers:Competitive SalaryComprehensive Benefit Package401(k) PlanEmployee Ownership - ESOP!Generous vacation packageKey Responsibilities:Report Development: Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that meet business requirements and provide actionable insights.Data Modeling: Create and maintain complex data models within Power BI, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports for performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing, especially with large datasets.Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to support decision-making processes, identify trends, and provide recommendations based on findings.Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.User Training: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionality, report usage, and best practices.Documentation: To ensure knowledge transfer and continuity, maintain comprehensive documentation of report designs, data models, and processes.Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across reports and dashboards through rigorous testing and validation processes.Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Power BI and related technologies, recommending and implementing new features and tools as appropriate.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service.Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.Advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) knowledge for complex calculations and data manipulation.Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Cognos, QuickSight) is a plus.Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake) and data integration tools (e.g., SSIS) is desirable.Ensure data accuracy and implement data quality measuresStay current with emerging BI Technologies and best practicesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.Work Environment:Location: Hybrid work model with options for remote work.Hours: Standard business hours with some flexibility.
