Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.Work You’ll DoDrive software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Drive the evaluation of technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design. Gain exposure to multiple industries and service lines while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities.

80% Travel required nationally.Telecommuting permitted.Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:Designing and developing applications using Microsoft (MS) Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Azure DevOps, and SQL to meet functional needs for software applications;Utilizing Class, Use Case, Activity, and Sequence diagrams to convert business requirements into development models;Delivering and deploying custom developed applications for clients, including prototyping, code development, modularization, unit testing, configuration and defect management, and production deployment, utilizing MS Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Test Manager, SQL, and Visual Studio;Performing software development in Agile development environments and web service testing using Postman;Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, business process analysis, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues utilizing Design Specification documents, Lucidcharts, Azure DevOps, MS TFS, and SharePoint;Performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and systems development life cycle (SDLC), utilizing SQL, SSMS, MS Excel, Figma, and Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams;Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data and process models, and pseudo code, utilizing MS Visio, Design Specification documents, Figma, and Lucidchart.OtherHours: M-F, 40 hours/week;If offered employment, must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE, including disability/veterans.
