INflow is looking for dedicated Engineers to join our dynamic team, where you'll have the opportunity to design, deploy, and support advanced technologies. You will play a critical role in driving innovation and ensuring robust, secure infrastructure for our customer.This requirement is for a cloud-systems engineer supporting Research, Development, Testing, and multiple phases of product Evaluation (RDT&E). The ideal candidate possesses a broad range of systems experiences and embraces challenges as opportunities to showcase their expertise and capacity for problem solving. This position comes with broad latitude to define and implement many of the duties described below within both traditional and non-traditional information technology bounds. The client will be frequently seeking advice and leveraging your expertise to propose solutions to complex technology problems which are often first of their kind technologies within the community.Here, your work is more than a job—it's a journey in innovation. With opportunities to work on high-impact projects, access to the latest technologies, and a culture that thrives on creativity and collaboration, INflow Federal is where your expertise can truly make a difference.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Interface directly with software developers to design, establish, and maintain infrastructure (both physical and virtual) to support the business and engineering needsDemonstrate new technologies and capabilities in the cloudPerform general systems administrator duties such as:Perform software installations, patches, and upgrades through a variety of disparately connected meansMonitor systems healthTroubleshoot interconnectivity issuesImplement security best practices under applicable federal and generally accepted industry standards security codes and principlesOptimize systems to meet individual performance expectations (i.e., cost, uptime, redundancy)Develop, implement, and maintain automated data backup and recovery strategiesProvide software deployment support to multiple development teams simultaneouslyUtilize existing or create new tools and processes to optimize and maintain systems to coincide with organizational goalsCommunicate a holistic strategy for documenting all of the above using technology means (i.e. Git, Redmine, etc.)Required Skills:10+ years of experience in a direct or directly related capacity performing system engineering functionsAWS CertificationNetwork and Linux administrationExperience implementing serverless technologies (i.e., AWS Lambda, Batch)Experience with Docker container orchestration, and other VM-related technologiesExperience implementing Amazon Web Services (AWS) scalable architecturesPractical implementation of generally accepted DevOps principlesFamiliarity with common programming and scripting languages (i.e., Bash, Python)Direct experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technologies and the practical application of AWS services into both R&D and Operational EnvironmentsAbility to work independently or as a member of a team with little or no supervisionAbility to develop, propose, and support cloud technology solutions for a broad scope of developmental software toolsExcellent troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication skillsRequired Education and Experience:8+ years of experienceBachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major, or 3 additional years of experience in information technologyRequired Clearance:Active DoD TS/SCICitizenship Requirements:INflow Federal is a defense contractor.
