We’re looking for an experienced
Cyber Infrastructure Engineer
to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
About the role:
As a
Cyber Infrastructure Engineer , you will support the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of agency wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs). You will assist in designing and managing the WAN infrastructure and any processes related to the WAN. You will provide Production Support of the Network, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution of client Networks. You will provide second level problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Support the dispatch of circuit and hardware vendors involved in the resolution process, and support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. A working knowledge is desirable in various software systems and architectures, communications protocols, and network hardware devices.
What we are looking for:
Three plus years of relevant hands-on experience
Networking experience
Experience or knowledge of Service-Mesh, such as Istio
Good knowledge of version control systems like Gitlab
Experience in software systems development using CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving skills
Familiar with Java, Node.js, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python
Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security
Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools
Proficient in tools like AWS Cloud Services, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, Gradle
Experience with Unit/Integration Testing
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
Minimum of a bachelor's degree
Obtain CompTIA Security+ or other DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification within the first 90 days of employment with Raft
Highly preferred:
Experience with writing custom Helm Charts
Basic experience with Big Data
Multilingual programming abilities
Knowledge in automation languages like Python or GoLang
Clearance Requirements:
Active Secret security clearance
Work Type:
Hybrid - Colorado Springs, CO
May require up to 10% travel
