We’re looking for an experienced
Senior Network Engineer
to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
About the role:
As a
Senior Network Engineer , you will help design and install internal and external networks. Test and evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. Relies on established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions.
What we are looking for:
Ten plus years of experience as a Network Engineer
Solid experience with Cisco Nexus/Catalyst switches, Juniper routers and switches, Fortinet firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls
In-depth knowledge and experience with WANs, encryption devices, VxLAN, multicast, BGP, OSPF, and Wireshark
Mentor and lead junior network engineers and team members
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, a Master's degree is a plus
Obtain CompTIA Security+ or other DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification within the first 90 days of employment with Raft
Highly preferred:
Great understanding of the project lifecycle, related processes, and traditional systems engineering skills.
Good problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt to changing business requirements
Any of the following certifications: JNCDA, JNCDS-DC, JNCDS-SEC, CCNA, or equivalent
Clearance Requirements:
Active Secret security clearance
Work Type:
Hybrid - Colorado Springs, CO
May require up to 10% travel
Salary Range:
$110,000 - $180,000
The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
