What you’ll do:As part of our Software Engineering team, you will play a vital role in designing, developing and maintaining software components that support the next generation of automated portfolio management tools. You will work closely with experienced engineers, product managers and portfolio managers and contribute to the development of cutting-edge portfolio construction software and data. You’ll get to use the latest technology paradigms on Google Cloud including modularity, functional programming and reactive applications.More specifically you’ll:Design, develop and test software modules for portfolio construction applicationsModel the business data into the right data storeAdd automations to the infrastructureAssist in maintaining and improving existing software applicationsWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeWork directly with Ethic's engineering, product, and business teams throughout all phases of the software development lifecycleWho you are:You prioritize building strong relationships, and enjoying the journeyYou’re kind, curious, and interested in other people’s perspectivesYou enjoy solving hard problems and learning from others along the wayYou’re inventive and excited about building something newYou’re passionate about positively impacting the future of our planet and humanityWhat you’ll bring to the table:3+ years of Software Engineering experienceStrong programming skills in JavaKnowledge of RDBMS. NoSQL experience a plusStrong understanding of functional programming paradigmsFamiliarity with unit testing toolsStrong knowledge of data structures and algorithmsPassionate about Software and technology.
