We are embarking on an exciting and strategic initiative to modernize our Material Management processes by migrating our legacy mainframe application (CMMS) to a cutting-edge SAP S4/HANA platform. This project will streamline our supply chain operations, enhance visibility and efficiency, and create a robust foundation for future growth.We are searching for a visionary and experienced Senior Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of critical Material Management modernization program. You will be responsible for defining the overall technical architecture, guiding development teams, working with SAP platform teams, other architects, vendors and business teams, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new platform, with a specific focus on designing and implementing the next generation reporting solution.Technical Architecture Design:Evolve the overall technical architecture for the Material Management modernization program, encompassing the SAP S4/HANA platform, integration points with other systems, data migration strategies, and security considerations with special focus on Reporting needs for the application.Develop and maintain detailed technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.Collaborate with the Implementation Lead to ensure seamless integration between technical and functional aspects of the project.Solution Design & Development:Lead the design and development of technical solutions for key functionalities within the Material Management module, including inventory management, reporting, and supplier collaboration.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and coding standards.Identify and propose innovative solutions to address technical challenges and optimize system performance.Legacy System Integration & Migration:Define and oversee the technical aspects of the migration process from the legacy mainframe application to SAP S4/HANA.Collaborate with data migration specialists to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer, including data mapping, cleansing, and transformation.Design and implement integration strategies for legacy systems and third-party applications.Technology Selection & Evaluation:Research and evaluate emerging technologies and solutions relevant to the project, recommending best-fit options based on technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and long-term sustainability.Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in SAP S4/HANA architecture, integration, and development.Technical Leadership & Collaboration:Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring project success and minimizing potential disruptions.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.10+ years of experience in enterprise-level software architecture, with a focus on SAP S4/HANA implementations.Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex technical solutions for Material Management (MM) processes.Deep understanding of SAP S4/HANA architecture, including its modules, functionalities, and integration points.Experience with legacy system migration projects, particularly from mainframe platforms.Strong knowledge of data migration strategies, data modeling, and integration technologies.Experience with
