Develop and maintain mission-critical software in support of missile defense systemsProvide site oversight for developmentAid in the containerization of legacy code written in JAVA and C++Participate in sprint and increment testing to validate softwareDocument and communicate proposed software solutions with integrated, cross-functional engineering teams in a fast paced highly technical environmentStay up-to-date on state-of-the-art programming techniques and software technologiesParticipate in software design and code reviews to ensure delivery of quality products and enhance skill setsMentor junior level software developersAbility to create software solutions from established industry standardsWork with System Engineering Team to schedule, synchronize and execute demonstration capabilities to customersWork with third-party contractors and stakeholders to coordinate and synchronize work integrationBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 20 – 25 years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degreeCandidate must be a US Citizen and possess or ability to obtain a Secret ClearanceExperience coding in C++ and JavaExperience developing micro-services and working with containerizationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneouslyAbility to convey technical ideas in a clear, logical fashionAbility to translate highly technical discussions into executable plansPreferred Qualifications
Master's degree in associated fieldCurrently possess a Secret clearanceExperience with missile warning and missile warning defenseExperience in algorithm development and testingUnderstanding of missile warning message typesExperience with the Agile software development process IAW USG defined requirementsOriginal Posting Date:
