Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s]. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.Preferences

Experience in a relational database environment, with proven knowledge of SQL statement syntax, functions, and procedures.A major focus of this position will be loading large, statewide datasets (close to 1 billion records) into the Utah Population Database architecture. Familiarity with loading large data sets preferred.Knowledge of SQL utilities used to import data files.Experience using SQL stored procedures to profile, transform, and load records into a database.Ability to modify SQL stored procedures to match current record sets.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server preferred.Expected to communicate with data providers to coordinate data delivery and quality assurance.Additional Information
