Position Summary:Walmart’s Global Sourcing Technology team is responsible for building and maintaining software that enables Walmart to source the best quality products at the lowest possible price and pass those savings to our customers so they can save money and live better. Walmart is investing in transforming the Global Sourcing business by enhancing the user experience with the latest technology, and we are looking for talented individuals who can use their engineering and leadership skills to help our teams solve complex problems.What you'll do:Team Leadership:

Build, develop, and guide a team of high-performing talent.Technical Design & Reviews:

Participate in technical design, reviews, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).Engineering Accountability:

Be accountable for engineering practices in the team, including technical design, CI/CD, code quality, planning, and delivering features.Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work with business stakeholders, architects, UX designers, product, and program managers.Global Delivery:

Collaborate with global teams to deliver industry-leading capabilities.Risk Management:

Identify and convey risks and issues to leadership and help drive mitigation efforts.Quality and Consistency:

Raise the bar for the team on technology with predictable and consistent deliveries.Promoting Company Values:

Uphold Walmart's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.Root Cause Analysis:

Direct root cause analysis of critical issues to prevent future occurrences.Agile and DevOps Practices:

Apply good knowledge of Agile practices and DevOps.Hands-on Coding:

Roll up your sleeves and dive into the code when required.About the Team:Focusing on customer, associate, and business needs, this team works with Walmart International, which includes more than 5,200 retail units, operating in 23 countries such as Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Mexico, and South Africa to name a few.What you'll bring:Leadership Experience:

5-7 years of experience mentoring and leading teams with an overall 15+ years of experience.Team Building:

Proven experience in building high-performance teams and scalable best practices in SaaS/Online/Enterprise Product engineering organizations.Problem-solving Skills:

Excellent logical and problem-solving skills.Distributed Systems Design:

Experience in designing distributed systems for fault tolerance and high availability.Scalable Architecture:

Experience with message queue-based scalable asynchronous architecture.Service Model Development:

Experience in building for an “as a service” model where components are multi-tenant, customizable, and can be leveraged across Walmart’s business verticals.Cloud-native Applications:

Must have experience in cloud-native distributed application patterns and tools, micro-services architectures, and web application frameworks (React, Java, Spring Boot, EDI, Kafka, NoSQL DBs), and application migrations to any cloud platform.CI/CD Processes:

Experience with CI/CD processes and design for high scale, availability, testability, and extensibility.Communication Skills:
