Our engineering team prioritizes creating excellent systems via rapid iterations, collaboration, and peer review. We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Manager who will own and drive the overall quality strategy and execution for all our products.This individual will actively mentor and contribute to the personal development of their team. Most importantly, you'll work with a diverse group of people and collaborate to create the best solutions for FRONTSTEPS, the Customer Support department, and Customers.As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will focus on leading and developing a highly skilled team of QA Engineers, Engineers, and Customer Support Engineers in validating all product releases. You will be responsible for managing QA processes and ensuring best practices are adhered to. Most importantly, you will foster a spirit of quality within FRONTSTEPS, and you and your team will be stewards of quality.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Quality Assurance is more than testing releases, but also includes work with the Engineering teams to build quality into every product releaseEstablish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the teams are using best practicesEstablish processes to resolve dependencies and communicate clearly with stakeholders for smoother releasesDevelop strategies for Automation testingBuild, manage, mentor, and coach a team of highly-skilled Quality Assurance Engineers and Software Development Engineers in planning quality sprints and validating quality releasesEstablish goals for each member of the Quality team and team goals where applicableDevelop and own all operational metrics for your teamCoordinate with the Support organization on cross team metricsConduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructiveDevelops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to deliveryIdentifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for productsMore than just testing for quality and Conditions of Acceptance, but also a focus on user experience, performance, load and stress testingCommunicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, product, and other appropriate staffCoordinates product testing processesParticipates in product testingIdentifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issuesPerforms other related duties as requested by managementSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BS or equivalent work experience preferredYou have good communication and organizational skillsYou have 5+ years of experience managing Quality Assurance teamsExperience with Automation testing tools and frameworksYou love fostering career growth and building a strong team cultureYou proactively identify problems and opportunities and generate creative approaches to solve themYou enjoy working collaboratively with the product team to build and maintain a backlog of work for a team of engineersYou understand that celebrating accomplishments is just as important as looking for ways to improveIn-depth understanding of Quality Assurance principles, manual testing, and automated testingExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsAbility to define, collect and report on metrics for the Quality teamSalary: $90,000 - $115,000 a year. This position will be based out of Denver headquarters and pays an annual salary of $90,000 - $115,000.This position will remain open through 3/15/2024.Benefits include the following:
