Provides expertise to the design, planning, implementation, operation, and security of systemsEnsures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organizationOversees the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer softwareImplements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the systemMonitors and maintains continuity with system software licensing and maintenance agreementsProvides recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgetingManages compliance in Security and Regulatory standardsSome scripting (i.e. PowerShell and Bash)Conducts routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelinesDevelops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentationDrives improvements to processes and design enhancementsCoordinates, facilitates, and verifies projects across multiple environmentsRequirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field or a technical training program with six (6) years of related experienceOr, a High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of related experienceSkills and Competencies
Ability to multitask and prioritize projectsAbility to work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environmentAdvanced knowledge of operating systemsExcellent customer service skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal communication skillsThis position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary location being for
Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC . Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
