BalkanID , a venture-backed cybersecurity company backed by top-tier investors, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a consumer product mindset.If you enjoy solving challenging problems and breaking through barriers, then you will enjoy this opportunity to work with a strong entrepreneurial team with successful prior exits, building a disruptive set of capabilities in identity/access management.You will be responsible for contributing to discovery, planning, and delivery in an area of focus within a broader identity access management and entitlement governance solution at the intersection of Identity and Security. You will work within a cross-functional team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. You should have strong programming skills and professional experience in full-stack web development.What You’ll Do
Within an area of focus, you will contribute to solving already identified customer problems and discovery of new ones.Develop, operate, and maintain backend and application services in development and production alongside a global engineering team.Relentlessly iterate solutions within a fast-paced startup environment.Qualifications:
BS, or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.5+ years of experience building robust and scalable full-stack applications, and experience with one or more database systems (SQL, NoSQL, etc).Hands-on experience with one or more modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Knockout, Vue.js and HTML5, CSS preprocessors.Backend services programming experience with Python, Java, Go, Node.js, or C++.Broad experience with Object-Oriented Programming.Experience with cloud infrastructure tools, e.g. Kubernetes, AWS or other cloud development environments.Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and/or Pulumi is a plus.Experience writing, maintaining SDKs and/or integrating third-party SDKs.Good problem solver, communicator, team player, with a customer-first mindset.Nice to haves:
Experience building or working with identity management solutions, AWS IAM, Okta, Microsoft Entra, etc.Experience with one or more data toolchains such as Amazon SageMaker, Apache Kafka, Elastic Search, Spark, EMR, Kinesis, Glue, Redshift, etc. or similar.Experience with GraphQL is a plus.Prior experience in a Product/SaaS startup company is a plus.Key behaviors / skills we’re looking for:
