Job DescriptionControl System Software EngineerLocation:

Indianapolis, INThe Control System Software Engineer will develop, write, test and document embedded code for safety critical electronic engine control and monitoring systems. You may be involved at any stage of a project life cycle from concept development, integrated/component testing through final production release. You will typically work in project teams with colleagues from other engineering disciplines.At Rolls-Royce, we pioneer the power that matters to our customers, to society and to the planet.Key Accountabilities:Design and develop embedded software solutionsIntegrate software/hardware and software/softwareExecute component level testingApply domain knowledge in software life cycle (design to release) and software design patternsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 1+ years of experience in software development or testing, ORMaster's degree in EngineeringIn order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. CitizenPreferred Qualifications:2+ years' experience in embedded safety critical software engineeringFamiliarity with model-based software design and code generationExperience using a DO-178 compliant software coding processControl systems experienceDigital logic design experienceExperience with verification and testing frameworksRelevant engineering degree(s) in order of preference: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical EngineeringBenefits:Rolls-Royce provides a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards package that includes base pay and a discretionary bonus plan.
