12 month contractJob Overview:My pharma client are seeking a motivated and skilled Project Engineer to join their team in Westport, Co. Mayo. This role is responsible for safely coordinating and leading projects related to Process Improvements, Automation, Aseptic Processing, and New Processing Equipment, with occasional facility/utilities modifications. The Project Engineer will ensure all projects meet their agreed goals and targets on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Lead cross-functional teams to deliver processing equipment to the site according to timelines and scope.Equipment includes packaging equipment, assembly equipment, inspection equipment, autoclaves, RABS & Isolator filling machines, LAF units, compounding skids, and vessels.Develop User Requirement Specifications and oversee vendor selection and evaluation.Manage orders, design reviews, and project meetings.Coordinate installation, services hook-up, and equipment documentation requirements.Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and commissioning of equipment, supporting engineering during qualification.Provide handover training and ensure operational readiness (O&M manuals, spare parts, and PM schedules).Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.2-5 years’ experience in Biologics, Pharmaceuticals, or Medical Devices.Proven project management experience.Strong technical, leadership, and communication skills.Experience with ASME BPE 2019 Standards and ISPE Guidelines.
