CAPEX Project Engineer . In this highly dynamic and visible role, you will be responsible for managing capital projects in 10+ facilities across our network in the US and LATAM and work with operations on process improvement activities.What you’ll do:Lead or support all stages of Capital projects from development to delivery.Develop, engineer, implement, and monitor all aspects of projects.Work with the plants in the development and execution of Capital Appropriation Requests.Coordinate development, procurement, installations, commissioning, formal handover, and project closure.Ensure project budgets are closely controlled and forecast spending is apparent at all times from concept to closure.Lead/attend internal and external review, progress meetings, document project status and issues.Facilitate and/or execute Continuous Improvement activities through analyzing facility and equipment capital needs, maintenance/repair programs, production processes, and activities.Support maintenance and sustainability programs.What you’ll bring:Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent.3 or more years of experience in a manufacturing facility or engineering function.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.Effective communication (oral/written) skills.“Can-do” attitude.Background in an FMCG Manufacturing Environment (Food, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Personal Care, or similar) - Preferred.Experience in manufacturing plants or corporate engineering positions - Preferred.Knowledge and experience with food manufacturing processes, drying, liquid compounding, etc. - Preferred.Project Management certification (Prince 2, PMP, etc.) – Preferred.Travel required – Typically 50% dependent on project location and phase – up to 80% in construction and start-up. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
