CAPEX Project Engineer.

In this highly dynamic and visible role you will be responsible to manage capital projects in 10+ facilities across our network in the US and LATAM and work with operations on process improvement activities.What you’ll do:Lead or support all stages of Capital projects from development to deliveryAbility to develop, engineer, implement and monitor all aspects of projectsWork with the plants in development and execution of Capital Appropriation Requests.Coordinate development, procurement, installations, commissioning, formal hand over and project closureEnsure project budgets are closely controlled and forecast spend is apparent at all times from concept to closureLead/attend internal and external review, progress meetings, document project status and issuesFacilitate and/or execute Continuous Improvement activities through analyzing facility and equipment capital needs, maintenance/repair programs, production processes and activities.Support maintenance and sustainability programs.What you’ll bring:Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent3 or more years of experience in a manufacturing facility or engineering functionManaging and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneouslyEffective communication (oral / written) skills“Can-do” attitudeBackground in an FMCG Manufacturing Environment (Food, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Personal Care or similar) - PreferredExperience in manufacturing plants or corporate engineering positions - preferredKnowledge and experience with food manufacturing processes, drying, liquid compounding, etc - Preferred.Project Management certification (Prince 2, PMP, etc) – PreferredTravel required – Typically 50% dependent on project location and phase – up to 80 % in construction and start-up. Due to our inability to offer visa sponsorship, we can only consider candidates who are authorized to work in (country) without the need for employment visa sponsorship.The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $95,000. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.
