JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Digital Workplace Services Cloud Architect is a senior resource with advanced, specialized knowledge and experience in Microsoft’s Azure Cloud, including compute, storage, and application fabric, as well as services for infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS).
The architect must have proven project experience in the development, testing, and maintenance of Azure based production systems. This position will work within the Digital Workplace Services domain to drive solutions that align to strategy initiatives and modernization of the user experience.

The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of crucial, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own the design and architecture of new and innovative cloud-native solutions aligned to DWS strategy.
Lead key stakeholders to determine the best comprehensive design, while supporting current and long-term needs of the infrastructure and related partners.
Develop and integrate cloud features to secure remote access connectivity for DTCC applications.
Lead the adoption of a Zero Trust model for DWS services partnering with key stakeholders from networking and security areas.
Build diagrams and documentation for cloud solutions and operational methodologies, standards, policies, and procedures aligned to DTCC governance models.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers for continuous improvement for flawless cloud service delivery.
Drive further cloud adoption through research and evaluation of both groundbreaking and well-established technologies.
Support vendor and team roadmaps for platform, products and deployments moving to cloud service delivery methods.
Mentor, coach, and knowledge share with DWS engineers and architects.
Provide 3rd level escalation support and liaison with 3rd party vendors to assist with outages.
Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; raises appropriately.
Fully modernize the provisioning and management of Windows 11 leveraging Microsoft Autopilot and Azure services for end-to-end management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 - 7 years of cloud-related experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Solid grasp of enterprise networks, i.e., Campus LAN/WLAN, Wireless, MPLS WAN, SD-WAN, DC Architectures, Remote Access Services, including advance routing protocols, BGP and OSPF, and network tooling for DR etc.
Ability to correctly visualize and implement virtual designs and concepts, to define project objectives. Capable of understanding requirements and developing comprehensive solutions incorporating technology, administration, and business processes.
Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting on premise, off-premises, and hybrid network infrastructure solutions.
Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills; able to present information in clear, concise terms to all position levels in the organization, as well as business partners, vendors, and technical staff.
Experience in PowerShell, Python, Ansible, CloudFormation and Terraform desirable.
