CCP Configuration Management Engineer.

This position may require moderate domestic travel.The successful candidate will:Maintain consistency, identification and control among design requirements, physical configuration, and facility documentation for radioactive waste characterization equipment.Coordinate modifications, upgrades and maintenance of waste characterization equipment.Ensure changes to the equipment are identified, assessed and approved with technical rigor required to meet applicable codes, standards and requirements.Develop expert knowledge of configuration management engineering, Statements of Work, industry codes, specifications, design inputs/outputs, and technical and functional requirements of equipment components.Develop and maintain CCP’s Graded Approach register.Develop and conduct equipment testing and verifications.Other duties as assigned.The standard work schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday; 10 hour days.Exempt Salary Grade (28-34)Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, as determined by management.Ability to read and interpret CAD drawing and Blueprint.Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.Preferred Requirements:Six years of equipment related engineering experience in an industrial setting or nuclear facility.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and the ability to interact with a variety of constituents.Demonstrated knowledge of operational safety, conduct of operations, and quality assurance programs.What we offer:• Medical, dental and vision insurance:• Coverage
