Electrician Cedar Park, TX Job Description CURRENT OPENING ON 2ND SHIFT To maintain the electrical infrastructure of the plant along with production equipment and machinery utilizing your knowledge of 120V-480V. Essential Functions: Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Use basic tools such as multi-meters, pipe benders, hand tools, etc. Understand and exercise the required safety precautions necessary to complete the job. Complete the assigned task in a timely and professional manner. Comply with OSHA safety and health rules. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Cedar Park, Texas. Work Environment Coreslab in Cedar Park. Manufacturing plant for parking garages. Outside and inside set up. Shop of roughly 20 people. Second shift opportunity, roughly 2:30pm-11pm Monday-Friday with plenty of overtime after normal shift hours and on weekends.
