Responsible to the Registration department for the collection of demographics, insurance cards, clinical information and collection of monies for the purpose of registering all types of patients. Directs quality control functions for materials distribution. Works with Corporate and Hospital CFO on related cost containment programs.Plans, develops and implements goals, objectives and services consistent with Steward Health's strategic plan. Directs distribution of materials, including the exchange carts for outside terfaces with Department Managers regarding their supply requirements. Recommends operating and capital budgets and monitors allocation of resources.Implements and maintains inventory control procedures. Recommends evaluation and revision of programs and services. Assures compliance with regulatory, legislative and accreditation standards as well as Corporate Regulations.Acts as a liaison and consultant on operations, policies, procedures and services provided by Distribution for all departments. Responsible for safety and maintenance of equipment; responsible for safety of personnel.Selects qualified competent department staff to provide quality services. Prepares work schedule for staff.
