Job Summary:

The Senior IT Delivery Manager for Supply Chain Planning is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the development and support of critical applications within the Global Supply Chain - Supply Planning team. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in application development across various IT disciplines, coupled with exceptional communication skills to effectively coordinate design, development, and testing efforts. The incumbent will lead a team responsible for managing and enhancing key Supply Chain Planning applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing strategic guidance.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning: Manage the Supply Chain Planning Application portfolio, including end-of-life planning and alignment of project deliverables with business goals. Plan, coordinate, and monitor the progress of development projects, communicating effectively with key business and IT leaders. Research and evaluate new development standards and tools, making informed decisions in collaboration with technology leaders. Plan and coordinate system upgrades impacting applications, including database, application, and web servers. Compile budgetary requirements and determine staffing needs while driving continuous process improvement initiatives. Acquisition & Deployment:

Lead the development team in implementing and supporting Supply Chain Planning applications through Design, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition phases. Provide necessary resources to maximize productivity and collaborate with support teams to resolve production issues. Develop client relationships and engage stakeholders on projects to ensure successful deployment and adoption. Operational Management:

Take ownership of all aspects of the Supply Chain Planning team and applications, including management of application support and issue resolution. Act as a Subject Matter Expert in discovering and investigating new projects and initiatives, mentoring team members, and building business requirements. Provide daily management and leadership to the development team, including setting employee objectives, monitoring performance, and providing feedback and mentoring. Create and manage development work plans, conduct staffing and resource management activities, and maintain documentation and presentations for management and technical staff. Qualifications:

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of IT experience in software development life cycle and system integration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Extensive experience in Planning application development, PL/SQL development, and leading teams. Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to lead effective meetings and collaborate across business and IT teams. Preferred experience with Blue Yonder architecture and applications, Oracle Applications Express (APEX), managing multiple projects simultaneously, and Agile Scrum development methodologies.
