What You Can Expect
As our Intern, for Strategic Sourcing Analyst you will support the ENGIE Renewables Engineering and Delivery team with broader Renewables Business Unit to support the procurement of key wind and energy storage equipment. You will get the opportunity to engage with suppliers to obtain commercial and technical information needed for vendor qualification & system design.
Data Analysis:
Enhance cost database capabilities & analysis, data capture, and forecasting capabilities. Consolidate, normalize, cleanse and manage all the data collected
Supply Market Research:
Conduct research into industry trends, pricing and emerging technologies to inform sourcing decisions
Request for Proposals (RFP):
Support the competitive RFP process with consistent language and evaluation criteria
Regulatory Research:
Develop tracker of regulations affecting procurement decisions
What You'll Bring
Must be at least a junior or senior working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
Ability to create documents and recognize process improvements
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and a team player, collaborating with others to optimize business processes
Proficient in advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and Project, with excellent organizational and planning skills
Passion for renewable energy procurement
Additional Details
The internship work term will be from January 2025 to May 2025
This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range:
$22.00-$32.00 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
