Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager at Emerson plays a critical role in driving sales growth and leading key accounts. Reporting to the Director of Sales for North America, this individual is responsible for aligning sales strategies with annual business objectives, influencing senior leadership, and providing support to Channel Partners to ensure above year-over-year market rate growth. With a strong focus on revenue management and resource alignment, the RSM ensures technical support, quote response, pricing, and deliveries meet the region's market requirements. They are the link between the field and support functions within Emerson, coordinating sales activities and enhancing growth potential.
The ideal candidate for this position holds an undergraduate degree, preferably in Engineering or Marketing, and has 5 years of experience in the flow control industry with a deep understanding of valve and actuation applications or related fluid mechanics and electro-mechanical equipment. With a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a technical sales environment, including team development, the Regional Sales Manager demonstrates strong leadership and strategic skills. Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $101,455.00 - 161,170.00annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
