Risepoint brings single-minded dedication to student success, an integrated set of services, and data-driven performance to our collaboration with university partners.Day In a Life:The essential functions of this role are as follows:Leverage sales databases (ZoomInfo, Hoovers, and others) to identify prospective customers for outreach. Partner with internal teams to design automated digital marketing outreach to generate leads.Ensure the qualification of prospects and set initial introductory meetings. Manage outreach campaigns to corporate partner prospects via an omni-channel approach to include email sequences, social media connections, direct phone calls, and occasional in-person meetings.Contact and build relationships with decision-makers at employers (including general businesses, health care providers, educational associations, military bases, and unions) where workforce learning and development is a priority and is funded through tuition reimbursement / assistance programsLead the full sales process for new marketplace business by participating in sales calls with management team to learn and hone selling techniques, value proposition and objection handling, managing CRM to track contacts and prospecting activities, negotiating and close deals with prospective customers with shared accountability to drive successful engagement of programs.Identify and attend conferences and professional associations in the learning and development space to engage potential customers. Initiate conversations to identify business needs at target accounts to determine if Risepoint is a solution to address their need.Evaluate engagement of prospective customers throughout sales cycle to validate Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) moving forward.Collaborate with our marketing / GTM team to design and deliver a "rollout toolkit" to share best practices in launching offerings at clients.Proven track record of meeting and exceeding MBOs and or sales targets and other objective measures of successDemonstrated analytical toolkitExceptional leadership, management and communication skills.Perform in accordance with Risepoint Policies.Perform other duties as assigned.What You'll Need for Success:You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:A bachelor's degree is required.A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales or commercial roles, with a strong focus on business-to-business and go-to-market strategies.Industry experience in Higher Education and Online Program Management (OPM) sectors is strongly preferred.Proven ability to demonstrate exceptional influencing skills, with a track record of working cross-functionally across multiple levels within an organization.A strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding Management by Objectives (MBOs), sales targets, and other measurable success criteria.Proficiency in analytical tools and methodologies, showcasing a strong analytical skill set.Outstanding leadership, management, and communication abilities, with the ability to inspire and guide teams effectively.#LI-AD1Risepoint is an equal opportunity employer and supports a diverse and inclusive workforce.Risepoint offers the following comprehensive benefits:18 days PTO + Winter Shutdown12 designated holidays + 1 floating holidayMedical - four optionsDentalVisionLife & Disability
