This role involves ensuring that all end-user technology, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and related software, is effectively managed and aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. The EUC Director will lead a team of TDI professionals and work closely with other departments to enhance user experience, streamline operations, and support organizational growth.Essential Functions:Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Leadership:Develop and implement the end user computing strategy to align with organizational goals and IT objectives.Lead and mentor the EUC team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.Manage the EUC budget, including forecasting, expense control, and financial reporting.End User Technology Management:Oversee the lifecycle management of end user devices, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.Ensure the effective management and support of desktop and mobile operating systems, productivity software, and associated applications.Implement and maintain end user device policies, procedures, and standards to ensure security and compliance.User Experience and Support:Develop and enforce standards for end user support, including service desk operations, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of end user systems.Monitor user satisfaction and feedback, making improvements to enhance the end user experience.Technology Integration and Innovation:Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve end user computing capabilities.Lead initiatives to implement new tools, technologies, and processes that enhance efficiency and productivity.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the EUC domain.Automation and Efficiency:Develop and implement automation strategies to optimize and streamline end user computing processes, such as device provisioning, software deployment, and support workflows.Hands-on experience with automation tools and technologies, including but not limited to:Scripting Languages:

Proficient in PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages to automate tasks such as user account management, software installation, and system configuration.Automation Platforms:

Experience with platforms like Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intune, or similar for automating device management and deployment.Endpoint Management Solutions:

Implement and manage solutions for automated patch management, compliance reporting, and endpoint protection.Design, develop, and maintain scripts and automation workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.Monitor and assess the impact of automation initiatives, ensuring they meet performance and reliability expectations.Compliance and Security:Ensure that end user computing systems adhere to organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.Implement and monitor security measures to protect end user devices and data from threats and vulnerabilities.Coordinate with the IT security team to address and mitigate potential security risks.Scaled Agile SAFe:Manage and oversee EUC-related projects, including technology upgrades, deployments, and migrations.Work closely with Product in PI Planning and execute on committed work, timelines, and resource requirements, and ensure successful delivery.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with other IT leaders and departments to align end user computing strategies with broader IT and business objectives.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and address any concerns related to end user technology.Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, requiredWork Experience:

Experience:

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on end user computing, and at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.Skills:Strong knowledge of end user computing technologies, including desktop and mobile operating systems, productivity software, and hardware.Proven experience in managing IT teams, budgets, and projects.Hands-on Automation Experience:

Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation platforms (e.g., Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Intune). Demonstrated ability to develop and implement automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.Strong understanding of IT security practices and compliance requirementsTravel Requirement Details:

Office-based with occasional travel to other company locations as needed.Flexibility in working hours may be required to support various time zones and urgent issues.

About CoBank:The typical base pay range for this role is between $140,052 - $194,742. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.The listed salary, other compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
