As a strategic and yet, hands-on, Controller, you will lead financial operations, oversee a staff accountant, and ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records. You will drive monthly and annual close processes, partner with operations to enhance systems, and develop financial insights to support continued business growth!
Responsibilities
include :Lead day-to-day accounting functions, including transaction recording, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.Direct month-end and year-end close processes.Oversee A/P, A/R, and revenue recognition processes.Assist with cash management and cash reconciliations.Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective and accurate inventory control and valuation.Implement process improvements to streamline operations and strengthen internal controls.Monitor cash flow, budget performance, and forecast projections.Mentor and guide staff accountant and share accounting insight with key internal partners.Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business or related field; equivalent work experience will be considered.Strong background in GAAP and corporate accounting with 5+ years' progressively more responsible experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.Cost accounting and inventory management experience desired.Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.QuickBooks experience is a plus; ERP system evaluation and implementation experience desired.Proven leadership abilities with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Compensation Range:
Flexible depending on experience but likely in the $95,000-115,000 range.
