Job Description
As a
Product Security Engineering Intern , you will be expected to analyze architecture, product design with different technology stacks, application, firmware, and hardware from a security perspective. You will be involved in discovering security issues and recommending remediation.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Engage in security research and develop tooling to enhance the product security team's capability to detect and classify vulnerabilities within systemsEngage with product security team to review current toolsets and conduct research on additional security capabilitiesAssist product security team members to perform security testing such as vulnerability testing and penetration testing to ensure that BMT products are resistant to exploitationReview security tools integration into the CI/CD pipeline and build adoption guides for the development teams.Evaluation of security tools and technologies and build custom internal tools as needed using PythonWork with cross functional teams including, R&D Quality, Manufacturing and Regulatory to participate in security risk reductionContribute to the development of security trainingRelationship development
This role provides the opportunity to learn and work cross functionally with a variety of stakeholders to include product development teams and contribute to product security deliverables and activities.
Training to be Provided
Interns will be exposed to working with product security engineers, software developers, systems engineers, Hardware/Firmware engineers, program managers within multiple business units in Bracco Medical Technologies.
They will have the opportunity to practice and learn advanced security skillsets such threat modeling, penetration testing, security tool integration into the software development lifecycle. Interns will work with product security engineers who will conduct knowledge transfer in their area of expertise.
Additionally, our interns and co-ops benefit from a buddy program, career development programming, and opportunities to build their professional networks virtually and in-person with Bracco Medical Technologies professionals.
Term/Hours
•May 2025 start dates are preferred, but other start dates may be considered. A longer-term engagement, like a co-op program, is optional
•Hours: 40 hours per week

Required Skills
Minimum
Currently enrolled in bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.Development experience with one or more languages (C, C#, C++, Python...); familiar with .Net, ASP.Net or other application frameworks.Preferred
Pursuing a degree in Information Security, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with graduation date no later than end 2025.Used hack the box or similar environment to develop penetration and vulnerability analysis skills.Basic knowledge in IoT, Hardware and Web application.2 years' experience in systems security administration control and/or software engineering experience or other related experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
