What is a Technical Sales and Service Coordinator (TSSC)?
Provide day-to-day support for customer accounts and serve as a primary point of contact between the customer and the company. The Technical Sales and Service Coordinator can provide customer support, technical support, planning and optimization for the accounts, as well as developing a relationship with the customers. Takes incoming calls from customers, determines what OFS product or service fits the application, and then quotes the customer. Follows up with customers after quoting to obtain feedback, answer questions, and obtain purchase orders.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an office setting
Duties and ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with customers to review and analyze their requirements and determine which product will be the best fit.Create customer proposals in compliance with company standards and contract language.Quote pricing to customers on products (including sales or rental of equipment or service to be provided).Prepare configurations, equipment lists, clarifications and exceptions for use by other departments such as engineering, sales, estimating, manufacturing, etc.Act as customer contact regarding product quotations and complex pricing, scheduling, and shipping.Coordinate expediting activities with other departments to assure accuracy in pricing, delivery, invoicing, etc.Enter orders into the system for customers and sales leads into CRM system.Follow up on any leads and close the sales.Prepare periodic reports tracking activities, costs, and other management information.Make pricing decisions based on previous standards regularly and customarily.Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers, and peers effectively.Comply with policies, procedures, standards, and rules of the Company.Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education.Bachelor's degree preferred or one to three years equivalent work experience, of which, one must be in inside sales or customer service.High School Diploma or GED
required .Proficient in MS Office products.Good understanding of business mathematical concepts.Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.Familiarity with international shipping regulations and documentation requirements preferred.Physical and Technical Environment
Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment.Ability to routinely travel throughout multi-floor office and shop area, walking, climbing stairs, utilizing elevator.Clean and orderly manufacturing environment and/or normal office conditions, changing deadlines and project requirements, strict time constraints.Benefits and Perks
