Job description:Position: Product Owner Location: Washington, DC / Rockville, MDDuration: 6 months+ (with potential for extension)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Product Release Plans:
Oversee product release cycles and set clear delivery expectations for new functionalities.Develop Product Vision:
Create and communicate a compelling product vision that aligns with the company's strategic goals.Backlog Management:
Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with overall strategy.Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, gathering requirements and incorporating feedback.Define User Stories:
Write detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.Collaborate with the Development Team:
Work closely with the development team to ensure clarity on requirements and priorities.Participate in Scrum Ceremonies:
Take part in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Decision-Making:
Make critical decisions on product scope and feature prioritization.Data-Driven Improvements:
Use data analytics to drive product improvements and adjust the backlog as necessary.Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Certifications (Preferred):
Certified Product Owner or Certified Product Manager.Agile Expertise:
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.Adaptability:
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
