Lead Host/Hostess
to oversee our host team and ensure smooth and efficient guest reception. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for the entire dining experience. You'll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while managing reservations, seating arrangements, and coordinating with the front-of-house team.Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and a positive attitude.Manage reservations and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests and minimize wait times.Oversee and train the host/hostess team to ensure exceptional service and adherence to STK's service standards.Maintain an organized and clean host stand, ensuring menus, seating charts, and other necessary materials are available and updated.Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and courteous manner.Communicate effectively with management, servers, and other team members to ensure seamless service.Assist in managing waitlists and coordinating large party bookings, special events, or private dining reservations.Support the restaurant manager with scheduling, team performance reviews, and other administrative duties as needed.Uphold the brand image and reputation of STK by embodying professionalism and service excellence at all times.Qualifications:
Previous experience as a host/hostess, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and organized under pressure.Familiarity with reservation and seating management software (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) is a plus.Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for creating a positive guest experience.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.A professional appearance and demeanor that aligns with STK's upscale image.Benefits:
