We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director of IT to oversee our global networking infrastructure, voice and telecom services, North America end user computing, and lead IT infrastructure integrations for mergers and acquisitions within North America. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and a track record of managing complex IT environments on a global scale.

This position will report to the CISO / Vice President Infrastructure, Operations and Security. Some US and international travel might be required.

Responsibilities:

Global Networking (WAN, LAN, SD-WAN):

Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement strategies for the global network infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.Network Management: Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of WAN, LAN, and SD-WAN technologies across all locations.Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve uptime and efficiency.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with network service providers, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements (SLAs).Global Voice and Telecom:

Telecom Expense Management: Oversee telecom expense management initiatives to optimize costs and improve service delivery.Provider Coordination: Manage relationships with legacy telecom providers and transition services to VoIP providers where applicable.System Integration: Oversee the integration of voice and telecom systems during mergers and acquisitions to ensure seamless communication.North America End User Computing:

Asset Management: Oversee the lifecycle management of end-user computing assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.Service Desk Escalations: Ensure timely resolution of escalated IT support issues, enhancing user satisfaction and productivity.PC Refresh Programs: Drive initiatives for hardware refresh cycles to keep technology current and support business needs.Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for improving end-user computing services and support processes.M&A Integrations - Infrastructure:

Due Diligence: Participate in M&A activities by assessing the IT infrastructure of target companies.Integration Planning: Develop and execute integration plans for IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with company standards and minimal disruption.Project management: Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integration projects on time and within budget.Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years in IT infrastructure management with at least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing global networks, voice, and telecom services.In-depth knowledge of WAN, LAN, and SD-WAN technologies.Proficiency in end-user computing environments and IT support services.Desirable track record of leading IT infrastructure integrations during mergers and acquisitions.Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, ITIL, or PMP are highly desirable.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinking with the ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives.Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Ability to inspire and lead diverse teams across multiple locations.Skill in developing long-term plans that align with organizational goals.Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Comfortable navigating through complexity and change in a fast-paced environment and passion to challenge the status quo to find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas.Bias for action and commitment to delivering high-quality services and solutions to internal and external customers.
