The Financial Reporting Accountant will play a crucial role in preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting various financial reporting processes. This position requires a strong foundation in public accounting, with a specific focus on the construction and real estate industries.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Statements:
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Reporting:
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.Reconciliation:
Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Budgeting:
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.Audit Support:
Provide necessary documentation and explanations for internal and external audits.Policy Maintenance:
Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures.Collaboration:
Work with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.Industry Trends:
