Position: Financial Reporting AccountantLocation: Duluth, GAIndustry: Construction and Real EstateSalary Range: $85,000 - $110,000

Job Summary: The Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting various financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, with a focus on construction and real estate industries, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures.Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.Stay current with industry trends and changes in accounting standards.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BS in Accounting).Minimum of 4 years of total accounting experience, with a base in public accounting.Experience in the construction and real estate industries is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits:
