Role Summary: As a Sr. Staff Program Manager at Rivian, you will help us continue to surprise and delight our customers by taking a leading role in managing the delivery of our latest software releases. You will be responsible for delivering high quality vehicle software releases to external customers as well as supporting new product development initiatives and production ramp. This is a highly cross-functional role and you will have the ability to deep-dive into many technical domains as well as work closely with software leaders and the vehicle program team to impact and drive the software roadmap. Responsibilities: Be the main point of contact to commercial customers for vehicle software Scope and plan software that impacts changes for commercial vehicles Support consumer vehicle programs as needed Align software release plans to company milestones Drive software-hardware integration efforts Coordinate verification test plans Coordinate cross-functional dependencies outside of the software organization Prioritize and drive issues to closure Provide the program team and executive management progress updates Conduct healthy escalations in advance of a deliverables going out of bounds Identify and execute continuous process improvements Qualifications:
BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related technical fields 10+ years of Technical or Engineering Program Management experience Experience leading the development and launch of at least 3 new products into production Proven experience delivering complex projects in short timelines High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Expert in agile and waterfall development process using Jira and other program management tools
Pay Disclosure: Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants:
$196,000.00 - $266,000.00 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
