Senior Sales Manager
INEOS has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sales Manager to join our Calabrian business at our Columbus, Ohio location.
INEOS Calabrian is a leading supplier of sulfur dioxide and related derivatives used in mining, water treatment and other applications. The INEOS Calabrian production sites include INEOS Calabrian (Port Neches, TX) and INEOS Calabrian Canada (Timmins, ON). Its corporate offices are in Columbus, OH. The Company manufactures sulfur dioxide and downstream derivatives such as, sodium bisulfite, sodium metabisulfite and sodium thiosulfate and serves markets in North and South America. Its products are used in industrial water treatment applications as well as other specialty applications in mining, personal care, pulp and paper processing, food preservation, and oilfield production.
Job Objective
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for developing and successfully executing a regional sales growth strategy to profitably grow sales year over year. This role is also responsible for the assigned sales region's sales, margin, and selling expenses.
Key Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:
Directly supervise the sales team, including assigning accounts to appropriate Sales Managers and monitoring progress and performanceReview and implement changes to accounts where our service level does not meet customer expectationsEnsure direct reports are utilizing business systems and business tools as requiredPrepare annual performance reviews to include performance objectives and action plans for employee developmentHire and train all sales personnel, monitor sales pipeline and strategic sales plansSet sales targets, make joint sales calls, and cultivate relationships with senior leaders at customers.Ensures company contracts are effectively managed and contributes to our overall sales strategyPresent monthly to Cross-Functional Senior Leaders, either in person or via TEAMS, commercial status to budgetsQualifications:
B.S. in Chemistry or other appropriate disciplineMinimum 10 years professional experience in Commercial rolesMinimum 5 years as team leaderAdvanced degree in Business desirableExtensive experience in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and/or Business Administration at a managerial/supervisory level or equivalentAbility to understand high level commercial business strategies and translate them into tactical working practice
