Key Responsibilities:
Work with management to develop innovative goals & objectives and develop strategic & tactical plansManage system/process improvements and initiatives for logistics operations related to inbound/outbound, air/ocean transportation, local distribution, drayage, logistics and warehouse management which includes creating models, analyzing, and recommending changes to the existing logistics solutions to drive greater efficiencies in service and costReview current or future trends that could indicate a possible gap for warehouse operations and make recommendation(s) for branch managers based on research dataIncrease the overall productivity of the warehouses by implementing automation process, enhancing visibilities, eliminating inefficiencies, capturing growth opportunities and by implementing relevant employee training,Conducts regular meetings with branch leaders to review location wise performances and to develop action plans to ensure innovation targets are metWork with the branch/sales team leaders by engaging with clients to sell our solutions and services, includes assisting with implementing programs for our customersMonitor the operation status of the entire business to increase the level of operation, and secure profit and loss to ensure business continuityOversees and manage innovation KPI's for various branches, customers, and carriersAcquire data and analyze results using statistical techniques, interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, and work with management to prioritize business and information needsDirect and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by management, including communication with headquarters in US and Korea, as well as with customers and vendorsProvides leadership to innovation team by implementing short range plans and identifying goals and objectives to meet the mission and strategic plansRequirements
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, computer science, data analytics, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.15+ years of experience in relevant fieldRelevant Industry KnowledgeAbility to build trustworthy relationships with customers at all levels (C Level, Managers, Staff)Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsExperience with logistics cost analysis, understanding the contents of logistics costs incurred in air/sea transportation, and identify trends and appropriate market price.Experience with finding the optimal route with various transport modes and multimodal transport and setup for transportExperience in business process review and analysis, managing departmental and project budgetsExperience in leading a group of team members with effective leadershipExperience in establishing and managing a logistics process for each type, such as warehouse operation/local transportation and operating guidelines.Work Location: 17785 Center Court Drive South, Cerritos, CA 90703 (Onsite) or 3033 W President George Bush Hwy, Plano, TX 75075 (Onsite)Travel %:

Your base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows you to progress as you grow and develop within the position. The base pay range for this role is between $140,000 ~ $160,000 per year, and your base pay will depend on your skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location.
